In the midst of restoring a 1933 Canadian Westinghouse W-44. It is missing the metal nameplate above the volume control as seen on the attached image from another website. Seems these things keep getting ‘lost’.
    Anyone?

I too have a Westinghouse missing that plate. I had the idea that if I could find one, I’d have a “seal” copy made of it. By that, I mean that I would have a company that makes the corporate seal plates copy it onto a plate, and then one could make them by pressing the design onto a foil with thin cardboard or paper backing like many of the logo and name plates were done in the day.

Same thing could be done for the McLagen or Northern Electric Fine Radio Furniture plates.

I forgot to mention that I saved three old corporate seal presses from when my Dad sold his business.
