I have a DeForest Crosley console model 851.. I believe that all the parts were there when I took it out of the cabinet.
Now I am putting it together and the part is missing
I always keep all the parts in an ice cream container, but I can’t find it.
It slips over the left shaft and has two small protruding pins that plug into the cogged wheel.

All you guys that have worked on the De Forest Crosley have seen this part.
Here are photos of the part. It is in the top right of the photo.. I do not know the length, but it is not too long.

I believe there are two different lengths of this part and I need the shorter one.
    Thanks

I found one in a junker that someone had given me
    Thanks guys
    Dan

    Dan,

Just goes to show there is no such thing as a “junker”, just spare parts that need to be found !

I did find the part that was lost.. It was lying on the floor right where I had the radio stored on a shelf.
Next time I will make sure I put these things in a plastic bag ,,,which I usually do
