    I am restoring a Marconi model 169 and am down to having to replace the dial string due to fraying and slipping. The problem is I can’t seem to find a diagram or instructions on how to do it for this particular radio. Could really use some help on this as well as a good source for dial strings, preferably here in Canada. Thanks.

    Hi Rick, if you still need the stringing diagram I can help you with that. A good source for dial string is 80lb test braided fishing line from the Fishing Hole, works good and is cheap compared to what they sell on line for dial string. PM me and I will forward the stringing diagram.
