    I have had this radio on my shelf for a long time. Finally got it on my bench. It was given to me quite a long while ago. Dial was missing but I believe it was glass. I need to identify the model. On the ID plate it states: “chassis type:47″and “code 121”. Can that info translate to a model number?

    It could be this one although this one is 47A

    I have several mid 40’s Philcos which are as common as dirt and may have the same glass dial. If you measure the dial, I can compare and see if a newer Philco like mine may swap.

    Still trying to post photos from my old Samsung S4. Cabinet is identical to 47A that Dan posted. Dial opening is 7 3/4″ x 1 1/4″. I will need to find two knobs. Thanks!

    Just measured mine. It’s close but no cigar. 8″ by1 1/4″
