    I haven’t seen capacitor values noted this way before in a schematic. The two caps in the attached image show values of .007 – .009 and .2 – .15. So am I correct in assuming that this is a range of values and any cap that falls in that range is OK?

    I think so. And the units will probably be µF.

    Also, note that they should be 1600vw rated parts to account for transients superimposed on the DC voltage. The tone with a 0.2uF across the transformer when the pot was at minimum resistance would have been really muffled!

    Thanks for that info Gerry O’Hara. I don’t really understand what that means but I’m ordering some caps with those values.
