I haven’t seen capacitor values noted this way before in a schematic. The two caps in the attached image show values of .007 – .009 and .2 – .15. So am I correct in assuming that this is a range of values and any cap that falls in that range is OK?
Also, note that they should be 1600vw rated parts to account for transients superimposed on the DC voltage. The tone with a 0.2uF across the transformer when the pot was at minimum resistance would have been really muffled!
