    Hi, how do you all attach your pictures? I just tried and the gigabox said the files are too big. How do you attach a color picture of 700 bites? Jeenie67

    Hi Jeenie67,

    AT the bottom of the ‘post a reply’ page (where you type in your message), there is tab ‘upload attachment’). Clicj on the tab, click on ‘browse’ to select your photo from your computer, once selected, click on ‘add the file’ in the upload attachment tab. You can insert a caption (‘comment’) in the box beneath the filename box. I limit my photo file size to around 200kb (use image processing/re-sizing software if your photo files are too large).

    It is sort of tricky the first time one tries to add them, so I did a tutorial for anyone else having issues.
    Open a second browser so you can still see the steps below while you do it if that makes it easier to follow.

    I’m a pretty active participant in a number of forums serving my various hobbies. Many use the same forum software as CVRS. From those other boards I thought the following might be useful:

    Another way to post photos that are large is to first upload them to a file hosting service like Flickr or Photobucket. These are free services in general….follow the instructions they provide to upload your picture to their site, then they provide a link you can cut and paste directly into your post on this board, either for inline viewing (Img) or as a file attachement (URL).
