    Hello everyone,

I’d like to thank Gerry O’Hara for the warm welcome to the community. I am new to vintage radios, and my first project is a Philco 37-650. Gerry provided a wealth of information and resources to help get me pointed in the right direction.

My first step is to accumulate the tools of the trade. I am set up for soldering, but if anyone has any spare radio workbench “essential” tools/equipment available for sale please let me know. (If it has cool knobs and gauges I can be convinced it’s essential 😉)

I look forward to getting to know and learning from the folks in this community.

    Luke

Hi Luke and welcome. I don’t know that I would have taken on a 37-650 8 tube console as my first project. That’s quite ambitious, but we all had to start somewhere.

    Cheers, Jim
