    This one is for any AK history buffs out there. This was an advertising letter sent to AK dealers to promote their 1,000,000th radio made. It also contained a couple of window display cards that are long gone but the letter remains .Its an interesting read and a walk down Atwater Kents history lane.

    It is an amazing piece of history. Just imagine if someone had that 1 000 000th radio to go with it.

    Thanks Sterling, I thought it was an important part of Radio history and the fact that it only took about 4 years for AK to reach that milestone. Pretty remarkable.

    Agreed…to be able to reach that milestone in such a short period of time. They must have been working around the clock!

    No doubt there must have been quite a few staff and lots of hours worked to get that done.
