Hello I am looking for anyone with a stark 12-22a . I need someone to please take a picture of the short switch . mine was broken like so many . I am able to fix it but the correct position of the center contact is a bit of a problem because it can be assembled 4 different ways . if someone could put the switch in tube test mode and take a picture of the back of the switch that would help me greatly in repairing this switch .. thanks so much for any help ..

Well I have some interesting news ,the meter on my stark 12-22A was fried when the guy shattered the short switch and then likely tried to use it . Anyway after exhausting searches with no luck finding a meter . I tried a little out of the box thinking . I know the meter is 500UA so I purchased the largest faced 500UA meter I could find on Amazon it only cost around $20 so I figured what do I have to loose . I tried the new meter and it seemed to be putting the needle in the correct position . Bit useless using a meter that reads from 0-500 UA but I knew that and was hoping I could pull the movement out of the new meter and modified the old meter to take it . bit of creative work and it fit.. Works out the needle is a tad shorter but it reads perfect , line adjust comes in at the correct voltage and all the tubes are reading as they should matching the reading of my other.. Thought this may help others with one of these old testers. $20 and a hour of my time and the old girl is working perfect ..

The new meter I had to change the position of the mounting hole for the face plane but not too bad and it works as it should ..

You can see in the lid of the tester the new 500UA meter that I stripped for parts to repair the factory meter . Not bad for a $20 repair

Like some miracle I found a perfect picture of the short switch , took a bit of work fixing all those tiny contacts but the short switch is working perfect now . cut a disc of mica to back up the repaired board for the switch after I CA glued the parts back together . I’m sure its far stronger now then it was from the factory . Guys don’t give up because you have a broke switch or bad meter, I fixed both on mine for $20 and some CA glue .
