Anyone using the Zonos app for duty declaration to ship to the US?

Canada Post new regulation is that we must first load the Zonos app on a cellphone, send them pics and description, they appraise the item and levy duties if there is any or a declaration of exemption. CP won’t take the package without that declaration. My phone is too old for the app, what we used to call a program.

There is no other option provided, they won’t help you figure out an alternative. Oh well. I’m wondering if the app gives you an appraised value, would be based on mostly ePay sales I imagine. I could get use of my son’s phone maybe, but want to know more about it first.
