Another Sparton completed

Some time I feel like I am the only one here that refinishes cabinets.
Maybe I am the only one who posts photos of the finished radios
Here is another one I just wrapped up.
It is a Sparton model 581 ,with nine tubes
As it sat in my garage it looked like just a plain console radio , but as I startled to strip it
I could see the potential of it looking good.
Last winter I did the chassis and it has the original visa glow tuning tube which works
but is a bit dirty inside.
The cabinet did come out very nice.

I have a 1939 Sparton 1271 and yes I love the cabinets wood they used back then.

That model 1271 is quite a good looking radio. i have opt seen that model before.
But there are thousands of radios that I have not seen.
