This one looks like it is in good condition. It has ten tubes with push pull 6F6 tubes.I checked all the tubes and they are good.
The chassis is clean underneath, and only three caps have been replaced.
I will recap it and hopefully get to the cabinet later this year. I do have the embossed knob for the dial.
I think it is going to sound good.

I now have this radio all recapped. It has seven electrolytic caps in it. The sound is very good.
The speaker weighs about 20 pounds,but it really puts out with no distortion.

This is a Westinghouse console,model 823 A.
I did the chassis during the winter , and now I have the cabinet completed.
I did have to re glue some of the bottom ,but nothing serious.
There is not much more I can tell you.
It turned out pretty good.

Hi Dan in Calgary, I’m in Calgary as well. I also have a CGE model A-108 that’s been in our home for the past 40 years. The cabinet appears to be in the same condition yours was. I last turned in on about 30 years ago and it did work but with poor reception. Also have the original Instruction Sheet and Sales Tag.
I don’t have any intentions of refurbishing and would be ok in parting ways with it. So just wondering if you or others have an interest in it.
