Ontario Vintage Radio Auction

The OVRC is launching a large on-line auction that may be interesting to  members. There are about 235 lots, mostly of radios (tube in wood and plastic, mostly 1935-1960), transistor radios, communications receivers (Hallicrafters, and some modern Grundig, Sony, Panasonic) literature, test equipment, lab standards, and some parts. The radios are mostly in good to excellent condition, some look absolutely perfect.
The crown jewel is a perfect Addison "Courthouse". The collector had an eye for unique design and colour and his collection includes some nice "art moderne" pieces. Lots of Northern, Marconi, RCA, Philco, Rogers, GE, Zenith. Some Crosley, Philips, Emerson, Sparton. Something for every collector.

There are FIVE catalogues! Items in catalogue 1 are to be picked up in Ottawa. Items in catalogue 2-5 are to be picked up in Cornwall, Ontario.Auction runs until October 9.

There are reserve prices. This is new: For lots in catalogue 2-5: if the reserve is not met, they will be offered at our fall live auction on Oct. 26.

Pick-up in Ottawa/Cornwall will probably be on Saturday October 18 with a second date TBD for those who are unavailable on the 18th.
