Hello all. I’m a new CVRS member, although I’ve been collecting and restoring for over 20 years. I’m looking forward to enjoying the CVRS site and especially the forum.
I’d like to ask a question about my RCA T5-2. It uses a tapped volume control. Two taps, in fact. It went bad, and the unit I installed as a replacement is not correct. I know that, because with the volume control at minimum, the radio plays at room level (i.e., can’t be turned lower than that).
I ordered the schematic, but it is almost impossible to read. See the attached portion of the schematic (below) to see what I mean. Can anyone tell me what the correct resistances are (total and at each tap, measured from the ground end), or something close to what they ought to be?

Thanks!
Tom
