WTB push button shaft for a Westinghouse model 955

I am in need of a shaft for the push buttons.
I do have the plastic push button , but I need the shaft.
Please see the photos for the size.

Dan,

Having gone thru life making things work where parts are hard to find —
Home depot sells a 6-32 threaded rod 12 inches long. flatten the end and you have your shaft.

I did manage to get some 2 1/2” bolts, and I will see how the flattening of one end works out.
My home depot did not have them, so I went to a bolt supply house.
