The radio is a Westinghouse model 667 ,and it had a pushed in broken grill.
I cut some pieces of cedar into the basic shape and glued them in place. The veneer came from some of the old pieces I save from bad cabinets.
It looks pretty simple, but it took a couple of trys to get the pieces cut right.
I hope it all turns out good after I strip and redo the cabinet.
