Hello, I am restoring an Electrohome AA6 plastic radio that also has a clear plastic radio dial panel that has divots on the panel from the rough life of living on a kitchen cupboard. Any suggestions to fill them would be greatly appreciated. They are too deep to sand down and refinish. I was thinking of using Super Glue (cyanoacrylate) to fill and then sand and finish after but I don’t have another to test my theory. I have sanded and polished the scratches away from the area where the station numbers are but they were no where as deep as near the dial knobs. Thanks.

Doug, I looked at the photo you posted and I don’t know what you mean by “DIVOTS”?
Maybe you can explain, so we will know exactly what you are referring to.

Sorry for my using the term divot as a small shallow areas below the shiny smooth top surface of the dial clear plastic glass. The affected areas are arround and near the on/off/volume knob and the tuning knob. This may have been a chemical cause of this rough diminish of the smooth flat surface. Thanks.
