I am new to the hobby and just picked up what I think is a 1936 Rogers Majestic Cornwall with a 6M531 chassis. Please correct me if I have any of this information wrong. I was able to find a schematic for it. This will be my first attempt at repairing an antique radio, so I started a thread in the electronics section to learn more and get technical advice as it’s my first time and I have much to learn (pictures of the speaker, chassis, and insides in general are there). Sorry about the glare on the dial. Is there anyone who can tell me more about the radio, or point me in a direction to learn more about it? Thanks in advance.

Welcome Jamie. I’m a bit of a newbie as well so my info may be very basic. Here are my suggestions:

Thanks so much for your advice. I greatly appreciate it. So far, I’m finding that a lot of the processes are similar to that of working on small engines, in a strange sort of way. I collect antique garden tractors as my main hobby (I have my own website dedicated to the hobby), so it’s nice to find that some of the ideas actually carry over. Thanks again for your advice. I have a lot to learn.
