Refurbished SG-8 Signal Generator

Replaced line cord, selenium rectifier, output jacks, filter capacitors and resistor, AF oscillator capacitors and two RF output resistors. Good cleaning and re-alignment of the tuning capacitor plates and she runs as good as new.

Nice job on the SG-8. I have had a couple of these over the years but both developed problems with the main tuning cap and were unrepairable. That being said, would you like a set of original SG-8 knobs?

No charge of course.

The tuning cap on my unit had issues too. And it looked like the unit had been dropped. So I see another article for the newsletter.
