    Hello,
I am in the process of restoring a PHILCO model 49-607, code 121 tube radio. The multi can caps value on the can is marked 30,30, 10, 30 uf at varying voltages. I purchased a schematic manual from SAMS Phofact and the “D” marking is showing a 60uf cap. Which is the correct value 30 or 60uf. Unable to locate a Canadian schematic 49-607 code 121.
The multi can cap on the circuit board appears to be an original.
Is it possible for a print error 60 instead of 30uf? I am inclined to replace with a 60uc cap.
    I would appreciate your feedback.

I would suggest that you post your question on the Philco phorum.
Those guys really know their Philco radios and all the quirks Philco seems to have on some of the models.

    Gaston,

According to info I have found this radio is simply a repeat of the model 48-360. ( the first 2 digits signify the year of manufacture.

It also seems to indicate that these are USA radios, not Canadian. I guess that may be open to discussion.

Have a look at this. It may help. — http://www.nostalgiaair.org/Resources/633/M0013633.htm
