I am restoring a 1935/1936 Northern Electric model 105 radio.
I need another power transformer because the leads into the core of my transformer are bare.

You might be able to salvage that transformer. I’ve cut the wire off, leaving enough to attach new wire (a couple inches to be safe), then used liquid electrical tape, let it dry, then shrink tube then another layer of liquid tape then shrink tube. You have to be very careful when messing with the trimmed lead, but it worked.
