This is an RCA model 97E chairside.
As usual I restored the chassis during the winter . now I have completed the cabinet.
There was water damage on the lower part, so I had to replace some of the veneer at each end.
. I used a strip of black veneer as a transition piece.
Everything else on the cabinet was pretty good.I would like to get another plastic dial and escutcheon ,but everything else turned out good.
I since have made a piece of opaque material with the words ”ELECTRIC TUNING” on it ,
to go into the hooded opening, on the right so it lets you know when you are tuning by push buttons.
