Hi there, I have this General Electric Canada jk126 / rca victor a33 radio from my grand father and I’d like to restore it to working order. The transformer is blown, and I will need to re cap the radio
The problem I have is I don’t know what I require as a transformer to replace it for the B voltage winding current and voltage
Any assistance in how to choose the right voltage and current rating would be appreciated

Hi. Antique Electronic Supply has some power transformers where you might be able to match to your needs.

    Hi Les
I have a similar issue with my 2nd 1936 Northern Electric 105 radio.
I measured the transformer output of the first NE 105 radio I rebuilt in 1990.

The voltages on the three secondary windings are as follows.

700 volts .2 amps 350 volts between the centre tap and each end
    6.3 volts 1.7 amps
    7.8 volts 3 amps

Hammond Ltd sells a transformer which I think should work if I can’t find a used one.
I would like a second option regarding the new transformer.

Also how do I delete unwanted pictures from my post?
