Hope this pic works. And yes, I’d sure love to know what the heck it is.

Aha! Worked! Finally, thanks to a little help from CVRS.

Ok….this thing has no name……anywhwere. The tuning goes to 1000, and the dial has no glass cover (you can actually touch the dials pointer). It has 4 tubes. There is a bulb for the dial, although it didn’t work. But the radio itself does work. Is maybe 11 inches tall. Cabinet looks restored, and done well I think. Bad thing (I think)…the chassis is painted a silver. And the guy was asking $300….a bit much. Although I think this little radio is gorgeous. ANY info would be appreciated. I wish I would have thought of pulling some tubes to read them.

Being a 4 tuber and considering the size it may be made by Detrola.

Ok, I think I’ve narrowed it down. A Gold Coast! (?) I saw a pic of a Model 5 "Little Giant", and the dial is identical. Also a 4 tuber. But…….as far as any info on the Gold Coast radio company, practically nil. Anyone?
