when I restore a radio I aim to restore it , and the end result should be like the radio that Grandma kept on her buffet , it should look like it was kept dry, cleaned and looked after. It shouldn’t be over-restored. I almost always re-stuff caps and do the restorations only for my enjoyment – not profit. For the most part I look upon my role with most radios as someone who will house and care for them and eventually pass them along to others to enjoy the process. I don’t aim to restore every one, just the ones I fancy working on.
