In the States, Eveready radios were made by American Bosch.
I have a 1928 Model 28 Bosch and am using a 9″ Eveready speaker in a table-top box with the radio. This is the earliest “permanent” (more or less) magnet speaker I have seen. It uses a horseshoe magnet and the speaker has an 1100 ohm voice coil assembly — a perfect match for the Bosch.
