Thank you for the Update Gary , and for stepping up to the plate. I’m looking forward to being in contact and I hope you enjoy your holiday and ave a nice escape from winter. We had a great meeting Yesterday with very good turnout. Lots of radios bought sold and traded and more importantly it really did introduce a few members to the CVRS. I’m also glad that the island folks have been getting together more and a few are back and forth often enough to help us keep it all together.

i sold a few items and with the money bought a neat loose coupler radio from Ted so I am happy I have a new toy and though I don’t’ know too much about it it appears pretty simple and quite complete. Just guessing at the date I’d say 1917 or thereabouts which is probably the oldest I have and one of the few I could call a true antique, (if we still go by the 100 yr old rule when referring to “antique”).
