Well, now it is my turn to be late posting. It is just a hobby for me. My father and I have likely restored 150 radios, home and auto, during the prime of his early retirement. He was always the Master and I was the pupil. At 92 now, he does no electronics anymore but we have kept his bench for him anyways. I still quiz him on certain problem projects to keep his mind active and it is surprising what he is able to contribute. I have finally started on the 49 Motorola. My father actually got it as a trade-in in the 1970s and it worked back then! Most complex restoration I have ever faced and I hope I can pull it off.

I also have a 1958 Corvette wonder-bar radio coming in that I will be restoring. Just a hobby now but fun!
