My first time checking in to the Vancouver Island forum. My father was in the electronics business since WWII days. Out of the war he worked at radio/TV shops until he opened his own business here in Victoria. Once he retired, we started to work on vintage auto radios, then progressed to everything from a cylinder gramophone player to a 1949 Motorola TV. He is 92 now and although alive and well, he is no longer able to participate. He sure introduced me to a fun hobby, though.
