There’s another thought. Assuming the radio was manufactured in the 1930s and was brought to a service shop in the 60’s for repair. The service shop is not going to repair the radio with 1930s components. 🙂

I have done one true restoration where the chassis looks as it did when manufactured. That was on my Northern Electric Baby Champ. This was my first Canadian set, and I thought the “Made in Canada” Aerovox caps rather unique.
