You might know already but I think the NE rainbows had the brown knobs if they were not painted, and white knobs if they are painted. so if you paint it look for white knobs. there are lots of examples floating around of this radio and i have a few but maybe not spare knobs? I even have the base and sub stations as some were actually not a radio but the intercom, and it shared the same case but had a paddle switch to talk. was there a 3 knob version of this radio as well?
some of the NE radios had a pointer that looks like a little propeller. I think I have a stash of these little propellers and as well some of the orange pointers that went on the NE baby champ. I want a million dollars each but if you buy multiples I’ll give a 20 % discount this week only 😉
