Hi guys – I have three of these little beauties that I expect to finish restoring this winter. Problem with all of them is that the springs on the lids are broken. Any ideas how I might repair these little springs?

(p.s. In my second “Newbie Chronicles” article in the Newsletter I showed a picture of how I modified the selenium rectifier in one unit. I won’t do that again – it’s easier to just disconnect it when adding a silicon diode! And because the chassis is so crowded, I ended up restufffing the filter caps for AC operation. Wish there was an easier way. g)
