It’s been my worst summer since I retired (3 years). I did almost nothing around the house except mowing the lawn once in a while. Too hot to work outside. I spent my days sunk into a loungechair reading novels. I’m now out of novel so and I’m reading a book titled “Radio troubleshooting” dated 1928. The part on underground antenna is funny. But at one point I kicked my … and decided I had to finish the restoration of my SQCRA contest radio (a Westinghouse RC that housed many generation of mice during decades). The cabinet is ready and all I have left to do is put the audio transformers back in place in the DA section and rewire them. Apart from that I have another cabinet to finish with lacquer and a spray gun. I do that outside if it’s not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, not raining etc… Last summer I refinished 6 radio cabinets. I am getting lazy.
