Please accept my sincere apologies, I don’t get on the CVRS website as often as I should as you can tell from my reply. Thanks for looking for me. I managed to rewind the antenna coil successfully, the radio works great. Also found four knobs that aren’t original, but hey, only a purist would spot the difference. The glass cleaned up not too bad as well. It isn’t perfect either but more than acceptable as is. I absolutely hate trashing any good radios for parts, a parts mule… well that’s a different thing, I’m good with that.
