You touched on an issue that comes up fairly frequently (at least to me). Many times I’ve encountered similar scenarios where the schematic says one thing and the untouched chassis shows another. I believe they are mid model upgrades that weren’t always documented. I have seen 2 different versions of a chassis schematic in the past that were quite different from each other used on the same radio. I tend to stick with what I see on the chassis. Can happen if a tube is substituted and a lower voltage is required, but on a farm radio, I would doubt it. No matter what route you chose to go, I’m sure you’ll run into this issue again.
