Hi Dan – In the factory manual it is shown as a “Swing Dial” – on the layout diagram , and on the schematic – it has semi-circular lines where the tuning capacitors are shown – I’ve never worked on one – but I assume ? that tuning is accomplished manually by pushing on the dial with your fingers ? just a guess at this point. – similar to some other units with turret tuning – but without a dial string.
I’ve seen a few of those at club auctions and on Kijiji – so there must be a few guys around that have worked on them.
