Later today I am going to get back to this radio and see what I can come up with . I did change tubes and rechecked them.
I guess the next thing is the coils.
But I am making some headway.
While the Deforest 83 was on the shelf, I recapped a table model of the Christmas Story radio. [Westinghouse model 780A]
It turned out very good as far as sound is concerned. I will get to the cabinet in the spring. It will not be a problem.
