If you are within driving distance of Barrie, ON., there will be a “Junk in the Trunk” swap meet in Barrie on the 24 April, 2022. It will be held at 410 St, Vincent Street. at the corner of Cundles Road East. You must enter the site from Ferris Lane which is just west of the St. Vincent/Cundles intersection. Lots of parking near-by, should it be busy. Open to public at 8:00 AM. And it’s FREE
Also there is another Swap Meet in Guelph, ON, to be held on the parking lot of Hammond Manufacturing Ltd. of Radio Transformer fame. I think it’s being held on their East Parking lot. The Date, June 11. 2022. Speedvale Ave. runs off the top end of the Hanlon Parkway, to the East. Follow Speedvale along to Edenburgh Ave. Hammond is the Big black complex on your left side (North side.)
And also on May 2,2022 the Hammond Radio Museaum will be re-opening their doors to the oublic. This after a long Covid 19 closure. The Museaum however is in the South End of Barrie just off the Hanlon Experssway. The Hanlon runs north of the 401. Get directions on-line. I for one will be glad to get out of the house and to attend these events.
