Glad to hear that you sorted it out.
I will make a suggestion for future testing — inject a signal that the stage or stages work(s) with.
Had you injected audio at the 12B6 it probably would have sounded fine.
You could then inject your IF at each stage working from right to left on the schematic, knowing at least that your audio section was OK.
I think that you would have probably found the IF stages out of alignment rather quickly.
