Both of these electrolytics have their negative terminals connected to the can, and the can is bolted to the chassis, so that is the negative connection. If you look at the chassis wiring diagram on page 6-4, these two caps are shown as hexagons and both show the neg terminal of the cap going to ground, inside the hexagon.
