Thanks for the useful information Dan Walker and Gary Albach. I located some material in Saskatoon at WD Plastics (https://www.wdplastics.com/), which is only 1.5 hours away from where I live so I’m going to give it a try. It’s a bit thicker than what’s been described at 1/16″ (0.06).
