Thanks for the link to that fascinating article about McMurdo Silver. It is interesting to read about companies like this that began in the 1920’s and were innovators yet struggled during the depression…some recovering and most not.
I am still trying to sort out when the Duchess model I have was made…made even more difficult since it apparently was made in Canada?
I have had no luck at all locating this model name. I have gone through every model on Nosatlgia Air with no luck. Radiomuseum does not have anything related to this model either…everything I come across is made in the USA. For now I will keep this one in a safe place and get to it later…I may just leave it as is if it is mostly original inside…the cabinet is untouched and original.
